Guidelines for Presenting Authors

Sessions - Oral presentations

All SPEAKERS are kindly asked to be present at the lecture hall at least 15 minutes before the session to upload the presentation to the main computer (.ppt(x) file format is preferable). Please bring your presentation saved on pendrive. If you request to present from your own computer, contact us at neuronusforum@uj.edu.pl (it is possible ONLY through HDMI or USB-C if you’re using Macbook).

The format of Young Investigator talks is 12 minutes for a talk + 3 minutes for questions. The indicated times are obligatory and we kindly request presenting authors to pay particular attention to stay within these frames.
Speakers in sessions listed: "Emotional processing in modern neuroscience - from human-rat dyads to VR devices", "Plastic brain and language - adaptive changes of neural networks", "Search for neural biomarkers of aware consciousness", are asked to prepare 15 minutes talk + 3 minutes for questions. Please familiarise yourself with the schedule and see if you're assigned to those sessions.

Flashtalks

Flashtalk is a session encompassing highlights of poster submission. If you have been selected to deliver a FlashTalk, please prepare a 1,5 minutes summary of the material presented subsequently during the poster session. The presentation should contain max. 3 slides. For example, it could consist of Intro, Results, Summary/ Conclusions.

All flashtalk presenters are requested to submit their presentations to the organizers (neuronusforum@uj.edu.pl) before the latest on the 20th of April. Preferable format of the presentation is .ppt/.pptx and no animations are allowed. FlashTalks will be delivered on the 25th of April (Thursday) at 10:00, immediately after the Opening Ceremony of Neuronus 2024 Neuroscience Forum.
