We would like to ask for your help in shaping NEURONUS 2026. We cordially invite you to send us your symposium proposals. The selection will be made by the Scientific Committee based on the scientific content and the availability of lecture rooms.
Call for Symposia opens 3rd November 2025 and lasts until 8th December 2025.
Each symposium should last approximately 90 minutes and consist of a talk by the Invited Speaker and 3–4 talks given by early-career researchers.
The Symposium Organizer is asked to submit the proposal using the provided template via email to neuronusforum@uj.edu.pl.
1. The Symposium Organizer is asked to contact the Invited Speaker prior to submitting the proposal to confirm their willingness to participate and their availability for the NEURONUS 2026 Forum. To promote a diversity of topics, we encourage organizers to invite speakers who have not previously presented at NEURONUS Forums
2. Early-career speakers may be proposed by the Symposium Organizer. At least two of the early-career speakers should be at the pre-doctoral level. If proposed, these speakers should come from different institutions. The Symposium Organizer is also asked to provide a brief description of each talk (maximum 200 words per talk). Alternatively, the organizer may choose to leave one or more slots open for student speakers. These will be assigned by the Scientific Committee based on submitted abstracts, ensuring alignment with the overall focus of the symposium.
3. A broad range of approaches and/or methods within each session is strongly encouraged. The gender balance among speakers will also be taken into consideration and appreciated.
4. The Conference Organizers will cover the registration fee, accommodation, and travel expenses of the Invited Speaker. Unfortunately, we are unable to cover the registration or travel costs of other speakers participating in the session.
5. Once a symposium proposal is accepted, the Symposium Organizer will be asked to formally invite the Invited Speaker. In addition, the organizer should ensure that all speakers submit the final versions of their abstracts and complete their conference registration via the official website within the specified deadlines.
