Guidelines for Presenting Authors

All SPEAKERS are kindly asked to be present at the lecture hall at least 15 minutes before the session to upload the presentation to the main computer (.ppt(x) file format is preferable).

If possible, speakers from sessions: Brain State Dependent Oscillations, Decision Making, Pain in Multisensory Space, and Medical Session I (all scheduled for Saturday, April 21st, 10.00 – 11.30) are asked to upload their presentations on Friday, April 20th, or on Saturday, before the Plenary Lecture of Ole Jensen.

For speakers presenting in medical and ‘biological’ sessions: Learning and Memory, Brain State Dependent Oscillations, Neuropeptides, Systems Neuroscience, Synaptic Plasticity, Neuropathology the format of 12 minutes for a talk + 3 minutes for questions is applicable.

For speakers in 'cognitive' sessions, if not stated differently, the presentation should last ca. 15-20 minutes (with time for questions).

The indicated times are obligatory and we kindly request presenting authors to pay particular attention to stay within these frames.

All POSTER PRESENTERS are kindly asked to prepare posters no larger than A0 size (ca. 80 cm x 120 cm) in a vertical (portrait) orientation.

Please find a number of the session and a unique number assigned to your poster in the Book of Abstracts (available with conference materials, and soon available on our webpage).

Conference staff will help you to attach your poster to the stand (stickers will be provided). All poster sessions will be held in the Exhibition Room.

Only authors with pre-doctoral status and present during the time for questions and discussion will be eligible for awards.

Please dismantle your poster after your session to make the stands available for the next session. Thank you for your cooperation!

If you have been selected to deliver a FlashTalk, please follow carefully all instructions sent to you via email.
